1991 Life Grand Prix of Luxembourg
The 1991 Life Grand Prix of Luxembourg was held at Rouen-les-Essarts on August 25, 1991. The race was stopped on lap 22 of 25 after a group of angry Frenchmen started rioting after finding out that the trackside café had run out of baguettes and occupied the hairpin, from where they didn't move. They also broke into the stewards' office and burned the race records so the fastest lap wasn't awarded to anybody. Pieter Kickert was declared the winner as Team Sandinista! scored a double podium.
